Terms of Use

Last updated 31 August 2026

The Queens Services Map (“the Site”) is a free, informational directory of health and social service providers in Queens, New York. By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Not emergency or crisis assistance

The Site is not an emergency service and is not monitored. Nothing here connects you to a person. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. For crisis support, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 1-800-621-HOPE (4673) (NYC Domestic Violence Hotline), or call 1-877-846-7369 (NYS OASAS HOPEline).

2. Informational use only — not professional advice

Content on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not medical, clinical, psychological, legal, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, or consultation with a qualified professional. Do not disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something you read here. Using the Site does not create any clinician–patient, attorney–client, or other professional relationship.

3. No endorsement or recommendation

Inclusion of an organization is not an endorsement, recommendation, referral, or certification of that organization, nor any warranty about the quality, safety, licensure, or suitability of its services. Omission of an organization is not a negative judgment about it. The Site is not affiliated with, and does not act on behalf of, any listed provider or any government agency.

4. Accuracy and completeness

Listings are compiled from public directories published by government agencies and from provider websites. That information may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong at any time, and the underlying sources often lag real-world changes. Addresses, phone numbers, hours, program availability, insurance acceptance, languages, and eligibility criteria change frequently and are not verified on an ongoing basis.

The Site is not a complete list of providers in Queens. Coverage of private practices in particular is a limited sample rather than a comprehensive listing. Confidential locations, such as domestic violence shelters, are intentionally excluded.

Always contact a provider directly to confirm current details, eligibility, and availability before visiting or making a referral.

5. Provided “as is”

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. There is no warranty that the Site will be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators of the Site shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content — including any decision made or action taken in reliance on it, and any dealings with a listed organization.

7. Third-party organizations, links, and services

Listed organizations are independent third parties. The Site does not control them and is not responsible for their services, conduct, availability, fees, privacy practices, or any interaction between you and them. Links to external websites are provided for convenience only; the Site does not control and is not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. Map tiles are served by OpenStreetMap, and optional “Directions” links open Google Maps — each subject to its own terms and privacy policy.

8. Privacy

The Site does not ask for, collect, or store personal information. There are no accounts, no forms, and no analytics or advertising trackers. If you use the “Find services near me” feature, your browser asks for your permission and your location is used only within your browser to sort the list by distance — it is never transmitted to or stored by the Site. Your hosting provider may keep standard server logs, and third-party services such as map tile and directions providers receive requests from your browser under their own privacy policies.

If you are concerned that someone may be monitoring your device, consider using a public or trusted computer. A domestic violence hotline can help you plan safely.

9. Acceptable use

You may use the Site for lawful, personal, clinical, or community-referral purposes. Do not use the Site to harass, stalk, endanger, or locate any individual; to attempt to identify people who receive services; to interfere with the Site's operation or security; or to scrape or redistribute its content in a way that misrepresents its accuracy or source. Underlying data belongs to the government agencies and providers that published it and remains subject to their terms.

10. Changes

The Site and these terms may be updated or discontinued at any time without notice. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
